I have had a great experience with Beyond Builders. I had my bathroom remodeled from the studs. Everyone involved was exceptional.. Frank Vasquez, the builder, listened to my choices and considered my wishes. What I appreciate is his knowledge, and honesty about what is feasible and what may or may not work, while trying to achieve what I want. He is patient and has a lot of experience. Yong, who worked hard to implement my choices was also patient. He does fine work from painting to tiles. He is flexible, and would listen and help make my choices functional. Macy, the Designer, was so relaxing and easy to work with. She listened, offered different picks and understood about bringing the colours and look together. Very patient with my questions, and last minute changes. In general, this is a great team. Kind, patient and polite. Great sense of humour! Thank you for your help.

We recently completed our bathroom repairs and remodel and wanted to share a brief summary of our experience. Selecting a reputable contractor came with plenty of stress and anxiety, but we believe we made the right decision because the project turned out so well. Based on the outcome of our project and our expectations, the planning and work performed by “Beyond Builders” met every expectation and went beyond what we had hoped for. Many things happened throughout the project that could have significantly affected the outcome, so I do not want to single out one event at the expense of others. Instead, I would like to highlight the key people and qualities that made the greatest difference and helped keep the project on track. Project Management and Communication First and foremost, the project manager, Frank Vasquez, was responsive from the start. He communicated clearly about what to expect, stayed personally involved, and followed through on everything he said he would. Whenever we had a question or concern, he provided answers and helped us feel confident throughout the project. His leadership and attention to detail helped reduce our stress and contributed greatly to the successful outcome. Frank is a real asset to “Beyond Builders,” and if we ever need work done on our house again, we would certainly request his partnership. Workmanship and Site Management The second person we would like to recognize is the lead project worker, Yong Lin. We were fortunate to have him on our project. We kept calling him the “Energizer Bunny” because each day we were amazed by how much he accomplished. We also appreciated his attention to detail, his willingness to listen to our ideas, and his ability to bring those ideas to life. Yong organized and cleaned up the work site daily, never leaving it in disarray. His expertise, work ethic, and care helped make our hopes for the bathrooms come true, and he is a true asset to the company. Design and Materials Recommendations A third person we would like to recognize is Tomoko Bryant. She did all the design work and renditions of the project and helped put together the material needs. She is the one who put our ideas into a picture that we could see and understand. Glad we had her on our team. She was a very important part of the project and very happy with the final outcome of her renditions. Overall Recommendation Bottom line, we are truly pleased with the work done to our bathrooms. If one attribute made this project successful, it was open communication, which allowed everything to come together so well. Thank you, “Beyond Builders,” for making our project such a success. We will highly recommend you for future projects and please acknowledge those that made this project a success.

Really happy with the work from Beyond Builders. Great communication, clean work, and excellent results. Highly recommend!

Frank Vasquez and Sam provided top notch service and support to us as our bathroom was remodeled. They were especially impressive in seeing the work completed in a timely fashion, a very important factor for us. I would welcome their professional services in the future and recommend them highly.

Needing home maintenance and upgrades, they were more than capable to address all the issues. The Project Manager, Frank Vasquez, kept the projects on track and within budget, and ensured the highest quality and attention to details. The workmanship was excellent and they always suggested the best approach even though we hadn't thought of the approach. If we need additional projects, I will not hesitate to hire them again.

Five Stars – Outstanding Work & True Professionals We had an excellent experience working with Beyond Builders on the build-out of Café Nene - Craft Coffee Bar and Fare at 209 Kaiulani Ave in the heart of Waikiki. From start to finish, their team demonstrated professionalism, craftsmanship, and genuine commitment to delivering a world-class space. A special shout-out to Zai, our project manager, who went above and beyond to guide this project across the finish line. Her organization, responsiveness, and dedication were instrumental in bringing our vision to life. We’re proud to share that we passed our Food Safety inspection yesterday, which is a huge milestone for our business. Like many projects in Hawaiʻi, we faced permitting challenges and delays that naturally come with building and doing business on a remote island. During the DOH application process, we learned that we needed backflow prevention devices and air curtains in order to utilize our custom-built open doorways leading to our private Coffee Lanai Lounge. Beyond Builders stepped up and made the necessary arrangements to ensure everything was done properly and compliantly. The final result is a beautiful, functional, and first-class café that we’re incredibly proud of. If you’re looking for a reliable, experienced, and hardworking contractor in Hawaiʻi, I highly recommend Beyond Builders. Mahalo nui loa to Victor, David, Carlos, Daniel, Zai, and the entire team for helping make Café Nene a reality! — Jeffrey W., Owner Café Nene Craft Coffee Bar and Fare
